Social media is an integral part of modern newsroom operations – and Newsmind Stories just made publishing even more intuitive. In addition to standard posts, the platform now supports formats like Reels and Stories. This allows teams to produce content faster, collaborate seamlessly, and publish directly without switching tools.

Social media without tool-switching: plan and publish directly within your editorial system

Newsmind Stories supports the entire content workflow in newsrooms and corporate communication teams – from story planning to publishing. The social media integration makes this particularly noticeable: instead of jumping between platforms, teams work seamlessly within a single, end-to-end process.

This makes creating posts for all platforms quick and easy: you craft your content on the left, while a live preview on the right shows exactly how it will look in the feed. This simplifies approvals and brings more clarity to your editorial work.

Add media: images, videos, or PDFs in the correct format

Whether it’s an image or a video – files can be uploaded directly into a story’s material tab and dragged and dropped into the correct element. The system automatically analyzes whether the media is suitable, with a small icon showing instantly if the format or resolution fits the respective platform.

Orange: Optimization recommended, but the post can still be published

Red: Something is wrong, and the network will reject the image or video

For videos, you can also select or upload a custom thumbnail. The cropping can be adjusted directly within the system to ensure videos display perfectly on the profile grid.

Instant publishing or scheduling – tailored to your workflow

Once the post is ready, simply click “Schedule”: then select the desired account or profile for publication (if multiple are linked), choose the date and time, or directly select the “Publish now” option.

Scheduled publications appear clearly in the publishing area, and changes can be made at any time. For posts published live, the system sends a notification that includes a direct link to the live post. Any publishing errors are also reported instantly.

Platform overview: LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X in detail

LinkedIn

Posts can be scheduled or published instantly, including image and video uploads. The preview helps with fine-tuning. Additional features are already in development.

X

Prep your posts with images or videos specifically for X. The preview shows exactly how they will look in the feed.

Instagram

Create, schedule, and publish posts, Reels, and Stories directly within the system. You can easily add a custom video thumbnail and include up to 5 collaboration partners.

Facebook

Just like with Instagram: easily schedule or instantly publish Reels and Stories. The preview shows exactly how they will look in the feed – whether it is an image or a video post.

Coming soon: TikTok and YouTube

We continuously develop Newsmind Stories in close collaboration with our customers, aligning it with the distinct workflows of different newsrooms. That is why TikTok and YouTube are already next on our roadmap, significantly expanding the possibilities for cross-media publishing.

Is Newsmind Stories a social media suite?

What our customers value most is the integrated approach: they work story-centric, plan posts directly within the context of their story, and always keep track of all content – regardless of the platform they publish to. This saves time and delivers actionable results faster.

Some teams publish their social media posts directly from Newsmind Stories – without the workflow disruptions typical of standard social media suites. This seamless, end-to-end process simplifies approvals and ensures clean workflows.

Other teams already use specialized social media tools and want to keep their existing setups. This works seamlessly, too: Newsmind Stories complements your current tools by centralizing planning, story context, and content creation, while leaving the actual publishing to your established platforms.

Both approaches are possible – and that is exactly what makes this setup so flexible. Social media remains deeply embedded in the editorial process, no matter how deep a team’s publishing stack is. This creates a consistent workflow that significantly simplifies planning, approvals, and content production.
