Success Story
The Memobase portal provides the public with access to a network of institutions that preserve audiovisual cultural assets.
The use of photographs, films, sound and video documents in education, teaching and research is stimulated by the portal. Memobase allows multilingual searches in indexing data and access to sound and image holdings that are permanently preserved in Swiss institutions. The consistency and relevance of the content, the depth of indexing, the technical quality, and the consideration of legal provisions meet national and international standards.
